Sometimes you don't realize you've been collecting something until you're staring at your collection.  That's how my Disney vinyl collection started.  Slowly, and then, HOW DID I GET ALL OF THESE?!

I love them though.  It really neat listening to Disney soundtracks and stories on vinyl.  It's warm and soft.  And I absolutely LOVE that a lot of them come with story books attached to the sleeves.  Very cool.

Do any of you have accidental collections?

  2. I accidentally started collecting Disney fast passes and photo passes. One day I had all of my unused fast passes sitting in a pile on my desk and I wasn't sure how they came to be that many. I still keep and use them as bookmarks now though.

  3. I actually have a really similar collection...I think I have every book I ever read before the age of 12 on a CD. like, anything. All the Harry Potters, all of Ramona...it's fantastic! Over Christmas I was hit with insane nostalgia when my iPod died and I was "forced" to find my old CD player and drag out the HP& discs. I ended up staying up all night just to listen to them! Hah for sleep. Such beautiful artwork! love this post :]]]

  6. AHH SO MUCH NOSTALGIA! Some friends and I watched The Lion King on VHS last night and it was the best thing ever. Although not quite as awesome as having the soundtracks on vinyl. That, my friend, is great.

  7. oh wow !!! that is amazing !! way too cool. i have very fond memories of the heffalumps ! i have this ridiculous collection of swarovski crystals. my aunt and relatives started it for me when i was young. i loooove it !! yay to awesome things.

  9. I've accidentally collected a lot of weird mugs. People just give them to me. While I was packing all of my "kitchen stuff" I realized that none of my things match, and they're all out there. I have a TARDIS mug, Jamaica souvenir mug, mug with an octopus at the bottom, a GIANT tea cup, and a color changing Harry Potter mug, all of which have been given to me by friends.

    Now purposefully collecting... I've been doing that my whole life. It started with beanie babies...

  10. I am so incredibly jealous of you!!!!! I would love to have those. Ah, I'm a disney freak. I love Winnie the Pooh. Thats probably the stories id love to listen to the most. They're so whimsical.
